Cannabidiol (CBD) is derived from the hemp plant and is not psychoactive like THC; so one will not get “high”.
Hemp is considered an adaptogen: a plant that helps the body cope with the damaging effects of stress and promotes normal and even optimal functioning.
Adaptogens can exert an effect on the body to help identify deficiency or dysfunction and can help restore balance. They are an invaluable tool for assisting health and wellness not only when conditions are known, but also when a condition is unknown.
CBD Oil is commonly used to aid in pain management.
It is important to know that CBD oil is not treating your pain; it is making it easier to handle. Continue to observe your injuries while you are managing your pain.

Oral Consumption of Oil:
Apply drops under tongue and allow to absorb for 30 to 60 seconds before swallowing. Avoid eating or drinking for 15 minutes.
Everyone’s dosage is different. To find your optimum dose, take the time to follow this protocol: start with .25 milliliter(mL) of oil. Place it under the tongue and hold for 30 to 60 seconds. Wait 20-30 minutes and do a mental check. If you are not feeling improvement, take another dose of .25mL and repeat the process. Continue in this manner until you reach the desired results. Once you find the total mLs required to ease discomfort, that total is your optimum dose.
Excessive dosing can result in drowsiness, which may be a positive if you have trouble sleeping.
