WELCOME
TO
SUNSHINE FARM
MONTGOMERY, TEXAS

Owned and operated by Jim and Lisa Jenkins

This is a place to experience life on a farm.
Come see, touch, taste, hear and smell a wholesome way of life and enjoy all that is natural and good from the earth.

At Sunshine Farm we work hard to make and grow the finest things.

redromainelettuce.JPG

We grow a variety of vegetables.  Our crops are grown without any pesticides or herbicides so you can be sure they are good and good for you.

rainlilly.JPG

We have many kinds of flowering plants.  This is a rain lilly and it really shows off after a rain.  I have been able to grow these from the seeds the plant makes after the flower.

freshherbs.JPG

Our fresh herbs are the best.  There is nothin' better then swingin' through the garden, herb huntin', before cookin' dinner.

We have a lot of critters here on the farm and they all have a purpose.

Here a goat.

There a goat.

Everywhere a goat goat.

We raise chickens, quail, quinea fowl and pigeons.  We harvest eggs, incubate and hatch these birds for egging and eating.  All naturally of course.

Here a bird.

There a bird.

Okay, that's probably enough.

chickens.JPG

Chickens have the best eggs when they are allowed to free range.  They can eat bugs and scratch around in the dirt.  A happy chicken is a healthy chicken.  This in turn makes the best eggs with rich orange yolks.  Our eggs are not your grocery store variety.

Last, but not least, we make a line of all natural skin care products which include soaps, lotions, body powders, sugar scrubs and more.

Everything is handmade right here in our gift shop.  All our items are made with plant oils, essential oils and we add dried herbs and flower petals from our gardens.  Our gift shop is open to the public with lots of samples to touch, try and smell.

To find out more about our Sunshine Farm goodies, see them highlighted on their respective pages or all together on our catalog page.
