Look At Us

This is our place in the sunshine.
We are located south of Montgomery, TX with 12 acres of beautiful trees and gardens surrounding our house and barns.

There is always somethin' goin' on around here.  Sometimes it's big and sometimes it's small.  Whatever it is, it's always fun and fascinating.

Spring is coming and we are furiously preparing for the Spring garden.  We have mostly finished the new greenhouse and already have about 1000 baby plants in various stages of growth.

We welcome visitors who are interested in our new structure to stop by and take a peek.  We do have six varieties of tomatos that are ready for sale.  We also have early squash varieties, purple cabbage and spinach ready to go into your early garden.

With the days gradually getting longer and the much welcome sunshine, our chickens are beginning to increase egg production.  We also have a new coop of girls that have started laying their first eggs so we will soon be in high gear.

Despite the lack of sunshine and the massive rainfall, our winter garden is still coming along.  The gourmet lettuce is a wonderful treat.  What could be better than picking it fresh for lunch and dinner.

The onions are everywhere.  They are so sweet and mild when they are young and you can eat the entire plant from tip to root.

And the herb that every winter garden needs.... taa daa cilantro!!  One of our favorites in both food and soap.  These guys are just getting started and will get three feet tall and covered with delicate white flowers.

The goats have been busy too and the babies are the proof.

These cuties are so happy they hop instead of walking.

These little ones are about 6 weeks old and love to spend all day playing, napping and of course eating.

Thanks for takin' a look at us.

Oh, and don't forget, you might see all this and more when you visit us at Sunshine Farm.
