This is our place in the sunshine.
We are located south of Montgomery, TX with 12 acres of
beautiful trees and gardens surrounding our house and barns.
There is always somethin' goin' on around here.
Sometimes it's big and sometimes it's small. Whatever it is, it's always fun and fascinating.
We have added a new garden area where the front yard
use to be. Why have grass when you can have edible landscape??? We just turned the grass under and planted more
veggies so there is no more mowing!!!
All the tomatoes
that were in the greenhouse are now in the ground along with the squash, cantalope, eggplant, peppers, okra and much more.
Of course we welcome visitors to see what is in the harvest basket each day. It won't be long before this garden
area is full.
The girls are
now at full speed with the egg laying and the quail are just getting started. Soon the eggs will be hatching with lots
of new babies.
We already have so many blooms and the gardens are
filled with color making this one of our favorite times of the year to take our evening walk about.
Of course all this is would not be possible without
a lot of hard work and the help of our little green friend.
